The Sin — Black Pearl Layer Cake / 黑珍珠層蛋糕
The cake screamed Betsy’s name. It complemented her Japanese heritage, albeit not exactly the cupcake smack-down theme Betsy had intended. What made this cake especially Japanese were the three ingredients used—wasabi, ginger, and black sesame seeds.
